"Trying to get my life back together"

The following just happened at our weekly meeting...

“Have you been to our meeting before?” I asked Alex

(a muscle-ripped guy who showed up alone).

“No, I haven’t. I’m trying to get my life back together.

I’m trying to heal,” Alex soberly replied.

During the Cru meeting, Alex could not stop the tears from steaming down his face. At one point he left the meeting to re-collect himself.

After the meeting, I walked over to talk with him, but another friend had already introduced himself (and they set up a meeting to talk more).

So I ended up talking with another guy, Ayan.

Ayan grew up with a Muslim dad and Catholic mom; he has read both the Quran and the Bible. He came to the meeting ready to meet with someone...

Ayan had a dream about Jesus.

“I know the Bible is true,” he stated. And he was looking to find someone to talk to about it.

> God is noticeably active.

> Students are searching, longing for healing.

> And they feel the relevance of Jesus to their lives.

Because of your prayers and support, students like Alex and Ayan are finding their way to life-changing communities of faith!

On behalf of these students, we say thank you!
